2 Peter 1:4, "by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire." ESV Through God's promises to all mankind in offering salvation in Christ, a heavenly reward to all the faithful and eternal life in Christ Jesus the Lord to all who finish the Christian race faithfully. You and I, and all others in Christ have through these promises become partakers of the divine nature of Christ. We are holy, we are saints, we are justified, we are reconciled, we are all this and more in Christ through God's great promises. WOW! God is so good. Amen church?
