Good Morning Brethren,
2 Peter 1:3, "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence," ESV Our brother Peter says that God has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Is this true, do we have all things? YES!! God is faithful to His word, we have all things concerning this life on how to live a life pleasing to God. And we have all things concerning being godly before him in worship and walking daily in the light of the gospel. May we do so to His glory. Amen church?

Good Morning church,
1 Peter 1:1, "Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who are elect exiles of the dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood: May grace and peace be multiplied to you." ESV Faith in Jesus as the Son of the living God is vital, no salvation without it, that's for sure according to scripture. Yet in this belief in Jesus, this pleasing faith before God is obedience. And without this obedience there is no pleasing faith before God in any generation. To say I believe in Jesus and yet fail to obey Him, I have a faith that fails to please God, I have a faith that is just like the demons who believed and trembled, yet obeyed not. May you and I continue to be people of faith who obey Jesus. Amen church?

Good Morning Brethren,
Jeremiah 2:2, "Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says the Lord, "I remember the devotion of your youth, Your love as a bride, how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown." ESV God's people in the Old Testament were given a "thus says the Lord, " for His will for their lives. It is no different for His people today we have a "thus says the Lord" for His will for us. It is plain to all those who love God and desire to please Him. They open up God's word and read and believe and obey Him. Amen church? I like it!

Good Morning Brethren,
I pray all is well with you all.
Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."ESV Our lord make an appeal, invites all people of all time to come unto Him. If there was ever a Lord's invitation, and there are many, this is it! It really is an invitation to all people in all generations to come to Jesus for salvation and rest of their sin weary souls. All of us in Christ today answered this invitation of the Lord's and we found rest, we found salvation, for this salvation is found in no other. Amen church? Let's tell others of the Lord's invitation.

Good Morning church,
1 Timothy 2:1, "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people," ESV Our brother Paul writes to Timothy exhorting that brethren constantly pray for all people, those inside and outside of Christ, the rulers everywhere. It is no different today, we ought to pray for our America, our leaders in government, both locally, statewide, and nationally. And this we will continue to do that we may lead about our lives in a way that glorifies our heavenly Father. Amen church? Let's pray.
